Moving on from East Asia and to the South-east. My first port of call would be the vast country of Indonesia.

Indonesia: There are so many places to visit here, where does one start? Possibly in the most populated Indonesian island of Java to visit Prambanam and Borobudur, moving on to Bali and then the Gili Islands.

Papua New Guinea: At the border of Asia and Oceania, this is top of my bucket-list for nature and wildlife travel, especially bird-watching.

Thailand: In addition to the beaches on the Andaman Sea, I would like to visit the historical cities of Ayutthaya and Chiang Mai.

Cambodia: The ruins of Angkor Wat, need I say more?

Laos: Vientiane for its mix of French colonial and Buddhist architecture and the ancient capital city of Luang Prabang

Vietnam: In addition to Hanoi, I would like to visit the historical cities of Hoi An and Hue in the centre of the country.
